We’re honored to showcase coffee from Ashok Patre, a pioneering producer whose name has become synonymous with innovation in Indian specialty coffee. At Ratnagiri Estate, nestled in the lush hills of Chikmagalur, Ashok has transformed a traditional family farm into a laboratory of experimentation, where precision fermentation meets a deep respect for terroir.

The RW-9 varietal (Cavery Selection) is a testament to this vision. Crafted through 48 hours of microbial anaerobic fermentation in bio-fermenters, followed by careful washing and a patient 23-day drying process on raised beds, this lot embodies balance and clarity.

In the cup, expect jasmine florals, a spark of citrus brightness, and a silky, honeyed sweetness that lingers on the palate. It’s a coffee of discipline and elegance — modern in its approach, yet rooted in Ratnagiri’s heritage.

This Light Roast – Filter profile makes it shine in manual brews like V60, Origami, and AeroPress, where its layered acidity and clean finish unfold beautifully.
